Petition To Implement “The White Paper”

We the undersigned agree with and call upon Congress to implement the actions called for in the White Paper entitled “Our Mortgage Mess”, written by Mr. Denninger and which both has been faxed to all of your offices and is available in full at http://www.denninger.net/letters/mortgage-mess.pdf

This White Paper sets forth how we got into our housing mess, lays upon the table the similarities to the 1920s speculative froth and the irresponsible practices of that era, and puts forward reasonable corrective actions that we believe must be brought to bear immediately to address the serious issues facing our nation’s economy.

We expect that this paper’s contents and recommendations will become the center of debate in the current election cycle, that they will be, to the extent possible, implemented before the election, and pledge to both monitor your actions in that regard as well as vote in November with your actions, or lack thereof, firmly in mind.
